I’ve bounced between printing at home, Staples, Walgreens… basically wherever I’m already driving that day.
Most of the time I just upload everything to Walgreens because those 5×7 photo prints are usually around 20 cents each whenever one of their photo deals is running, and there’s almost always some kind of coupon floating around.
If I want something that feels a little nicer, especially for family invites, Staples has been really solid with cardstock.
Personally? I’m team matte almost every single time.
Matte hides fingerprints, doesn’t get all weird and shiny under bright lights, and if Grandma writes “Can’t wait!” on the back, it doesn’t smear everywhere.
