Where I Usually Print My Tangled Invitations
I’ve bounced around a little over the years.
For smaller parties?
Walgreens is honestly my go-to.
I’ll upload the design while dinner’s cooking, place the order, and grab everything the next day while running errands.
Easy.
If I want thicker cardstock, I’ll use Staples.
The colors usually come out really nice.
Personally, I almost always pick matte cardstock.
It feels nicer.
Pictures better.
Doesn’t end up covered in little fingerprint smudges five seconds after handing them out.
Glossy does make those lantern colors pop, though.

You really can’t go wrong.
The Sweetest Part Happened After the Party
This was probably my favorite surprise.
A couple parents actually mentioned the invitation afterward.

Yep!
Names, dates, fonts, colors…move stuff around, delete things, add things. I tinker with mine all the time because I almost always think of one more change after I’m “done.” 😂
Is it beginner-friendly?
For sure.
Canva makes it really hard to totally mess things up.
And if you accidentally move something weird? Just hit undo.
Been there.

Should I print at home or use Walgreens?
If I’m only making around 15 or 20 invitations, Walgreens wins every time.
Mostly because I’m too cheap to keep buying printer ink.
What’s your favorite paper?
Matte cardstock.
Always.
It feels nicer, photographs better, and everybody can actually read it without weird glare.
Can I just text the invitation?
Absolutely.
I usually text family first because…let’s be honest…it’s faster.
Then I’ll print a handful for classmates who still hand paper invitations out at school.
