I always download two versions.

Every single time.
Because without fail…
Somebody texts me two days later asking,

Past Me would’ve had to reopen Canva.

If I’m making maybe eight or ten invitations?

Easy.

Absolutely not.
I’m letting somebody else’s printer deal with that.
I’ve had really good luck printing at Walgreens, especially for quick pickups.
Staples is another solid choice if you want heavier cardstock.
And one tiny thing I didn’t know until I started making invitations all the time…
Matte cardstock is honestly my favorite.
Glossy looks gorgeous.
It really does.
But the second little kid fingers start touching everything…
Fingerprints.
Everywhere.
Matte hides all that way better, plus grandparents can actually write little notes on it without the ink sliding around.
Tiny thing.
Big difference.

Decorations Didn’t Have to Be Fancy
Once I had the Saint Seiya invitations, decorating got weirdly easy.
I wasn’t standing in the party aisle staring at two hundred balloon colors wondering what made sense anymore.

And I don’t know…
That probably made me happier than anything else that day.
