What I Actually Did in Canva
I started with a free Canva editable template because… honestly… why make life harder?

Honestly?
Walgreens has become my lazy-mom favorite because I can upload everything from Canva, pick up the prints while grabbing shampoo, and call it a productive errand.
A 5×7 photo print usually runs around $0.20, which is honestly hard to beat if you only need a small stack.
If you’re handing invitations directly to classmates, I’d go with matte cardstock. It feels nicer in little hands, doesn’t show fingerprints as much, and everyone can actually read the details under classroom lights.
Glossy looks prettier in photos, though. If you’re all about that shiny fairytale vibe, you’ll probably love it.
Staples is great too if you want thicker cardstock without using your own printer ink.
The Part That Made Me Smile Later
The funniest thing wasn’t even the party.
A few days afterward, another mom texted asking where I’d bought the invitations because her daughter wanted “the same princess card.”
