Your Dream Rustic Wedding Invitation Templates (Free!)
There’s something deeply comforting about rustic design. It feels warm, grounded, and real, like nature is quietly part of your celebration.
Think:
- Eucalyptus leaves
- Wooden textures
- Soft earthy tones
- Handwritten-style fonts
It’s not overly polished and that’s exactly why it feels so personal.
Saving Money Without Sacrificing Style
Weddings add up quickly (you already know this 😅). Invitations are one of those areas where you can save, without anyone noticing.
With free templates, you’re skipping:
- Designer fees
- Revision costs
- Long waiting times
But you’re still getting something that looks thoughtfully curated.
Personalization at Your Fingertips
What I love most? You’re in control.
You can tweak:
- Names and wording
- Colors to match your theme
- Fonts to fit your vibe
It’s not just an invitation anymore, it’s your story, your way.

Adding Your Personal Touch (Fonts, Colors, Images)
This is where it gets fun.
You can:
- Swap fonts for something more handwritten or modern
- Adjust colors to match your wedding palette
- Add small icons or illustrations
Just don’t overdo it, rustic works best when it stays simple and natural.
Printing Your Rustic Wedding Invitations at Home
Paper makes a huge difference.
I usually suggest:
- 250–300 gsm cardstock for a premium feel
- Kraft paper for that authentic rustic look
- Textured paper for a soft, elegant finish
Even a simple design can feel luxurious with the right paper.
Printer Settings for Best Results
Before printing everything, do a test print.
Set your printer to:
- High quality
- Correct paper size (A5, A6, etc.)
- Borderless if your design needs it
Trust me, this step saves so much frustration later.
Professional Printing Services vs. DIY
If you want full control and to save money → DIY is perfect.
If you’re short on time or want flawless results → go professional.
There’s no wrong choice, just what fits your situation best.
Beyond Invitations: Matching Rustic Wedding Stationery
Consistency matters.
Using matching designs for:

These small details? Guests notice them.
Rustic menus and programs:

These are tiny but powerful.
They help:

- Add aesthetic value to your reception
And yes, you can find matching ones on Drevio too.

Beautiful photos. Would have loved to use one for my vow renewal invites. However, the instructions say to “click download photo” and there is no where to actually click. I can right click and save but the quality isn’t clear and it has to working on them. If there was a clear spot to click and download the photos, that would have been more effective. I’ve scrolled the website page from top to bottom four times. Hopefully that gets rectified for the next bride-to-be. For me, I have to go elsewehere. Good luck.
