So I switched back to brighter colors with cleaner fonts, and boom. Way easier.
Sometimes cute loses to readable.

Mine behaves about 70% of the time.
The other 30% it randomly decides clouds should have stripes.
So I always print one test copy first before wasting all my cardstock.

For bigger parties?
Walgreens.
Every single time.
Their 5×7 photo prints are usually around 20 cents each, which is honestly cheaper than me replacing printer ink after my printer decides today’s the day it wants to be dramatic.
I’ve also used Staples when I wanted thicker cardstock, and they always turned out really nice.
Sometimes paying someone else to deal with printers is self-care.
I’m standing by that.
Matte or Glossy?
I’ve tried both.
Glossy makes all those Toy Story colors POP.
Matte feels more like a real invitation and doesn’t leave fingerprint smudges everywhere after thirty little hands grab one.
Personally?
Team matte forever.
But you really can’t mess this up.
