Home Printer or Walgreens?
I’ve done both.
If I only need a handful of invitations, I’ll usually print them at home on heavyweight matte cardstock.
It’s quick, and I don’t have to leave the house.
But if I’m already running errands, Walgreens is honestly hard to beat.
Their 5×7 photo prints are usually around $0.20 each when they’re running promotions, and the colors almost always come out brighter than my home printer.
I’ve also had good experiences with Staples whenever I wanted thicker cardstock for a slightly nicer finish.
If I had to pick one?
I’d probably choose:
- Matte cardstock if kids are going to be holding them because fingerprints don’t show as much.
- Glossy if you’re really trying to make those bright comic colors pop.
Neither is wrong.
